Parents who want a simpler everyday

Skolelyst from TINE allows parents to order milk and other products online, so their children can enjoy nutritious drinks with their school meals. But parents of young children are very protective of their time, and many pointed out that the process – from logging in to paying – felt clumsy and time-consuming. Instead of having to enter personal and card details every year when their child starts a new class, they wanted a very, very simple alternative. (Photo: Skolelyst)

Saves time and hassle

TINE listened to parents who wanted everyday life to be just a little bit easier. From August, Skolelyst users can now log in quickly and securely with Vipps Log in. And once a parent is logged in, has filled their shopping cart and is ready to pay, they can also choose to pay with Vipps – either the full annual amount at once, or monthly with Vipps Recurring payments.

Do these two services actually save time? Well, here’s our unofficial overview:

  • Traditional login with a password sent by email: 14 seconds
  • Vipps Log in: 7 seconds
  • Traditional card payment: 53 seconds
  • Vipps payment: 10 seconds

Excellent numbers

We’ll spare you the math showing how many seconds, minutes, and hours Skolelyst users save by using Vipps. Let’s just say: the numbers add up!

What we can say is that the vast majority of parents prefer saving time the orange way. Just a few weeks after launching the two services, here are the results:

  • 61% of users choose Vipps Log in
  • 80% of users choose Vipps Recurring payments

The numbers speak for themselves. Vipps has made the Skolelyst journey faster and simpler – just the way parents like it in their busy everyday lives. (Photo: Skolelyst)
